2026 Schedule of Events

 

February 21 - 22, 2026 - 72nd NYVI  Day of the Soldier

RACW event to be held at the Pike Farm in Los Molinos, CA.

 

March 21 - 22, 2026 - Hosted by the ACWA, Knights Ferry, CA

Knights Ferry Civil War Days, a premier living history event, will return in March 2026 to the Stanislaus River Park near the historic covered bridge in Knights Ferry, California. The event features Union and Confederate reenactments, with battle reenactments taking place on both Saturday and Sunday.

April 18, 2026 - Red Bluff Roundup Parade

A week before the Cone Grove event, this is a huge publicity generator for Civil War Days Red Bluff!

 

April 23 - 26, 2026 - Hosted by the 72nd NYVI, Civil War Days Cone Grove, Red Bluff, CA

Civil War Days at Red Bluff's Cone Grove Park is a multi-day American Civil War reenactment and living history event featuring military and civilian encampments, live demonstrations, and North vs. South battles, along with a Friday school day for local students. The event offers participants a chance to experience 19th-century life through immersive historical stations and to witness realistic battle recreations in a park described as an unspoiled gem that evokes the feel of the Northern Virginia countryside.

 

May 22 – 25, 2026 - An ACWA Event - Mahon Ranch in Elk Grove, CA (tentative)

June 20-21, 2026 - Hosted by the Cascade Civil War Society - Stewart State Park, Medford, OR

This event takes place at idyllic Lost Creek Lane in the Day Use area, with full encampments and battles on both Saturday and Sunday.

 

July 5-6, 2026 - Hosted by the RACW in Graeagle, CA

Wonderful site outside of Quincy up Hwy 70, high in the mountains. Very festive holiday crowd yearly comes to the little town of Graeagle. On Saturday we will be having two battles and Saturday night will be an excellent fireworks show. A parade will be the only activity on Sunday.

 

August 8 - 9, 2026 - An RACW Event - Yreka, CA

This event is now back on the schedule for 2026.

 

September 18-19, 2026 - Fort Crook Historical Days in Fort Crook, CA.

This event coincides with Ft. Crook Museum’s annual Pioneer Day which essentially is the museum’s annual open house. It is always the third Sat. in Sept. There will be school day on Friday and two skirmishes on Saturday.

October 2-4, 2026 - Civil War Days in Redding, CA.

The Reenactors of the American Civil War will be hosting this event at Enterprise Park in Redding, Ca. (4000 Victor Ave.). This early Fall campaign will run from October 2nd thru to the 4th. There will be a school day on Friday the 2nd.

 

October 16 – 18, 2026 - Noz Castle in Snelling, CA

The third annual ACWA living history and Civil War reenactment at Castle Noz in Snelling, CA.

 

November 14 - 15, 2026 - Mahon Ranch - Elk Grove, CA
