Note: There is some discrepancy on the dates of events reported by both these reports. For the sake of clarity, I am taking LeFevre Brown's report, from his book, as being the most accurate of the two, as he was directly attached to the unit and fought with these folks. When the information from source #2 differs,  I will denote that information by preceding it with a (2).
